Easy Sugar Cookie Dough Dip

Soft, fluffy sugar cookie dip is an easy 5-minute dessert dip recipe with cream cheese, Cool Whip, crumbled sugar cookies, and hints of vanilla and almond. Top with festive sprinkles and serve with cookies, graham crackers, pretzels, and fruit.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • 1 cup crumbled vanilla or sugar cookies such as Lofthouse, vanilla wafers, or Golden Oreos
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip
  • colored jimmies

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese and butter with a hand or stand mixer until soft and creamy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract, and mix until smooth. Mix in the cookie crumbs. With a spatula, fold in the Cool Whip until combined.
  • Spoon sugar cookie dip into a serving bowl. Top with jimmies, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with pretzels, cookies, and fruit.

Notes

  • If using Oreos or Lofthouse cookies, you can leave the frosting on or scrape it off. 
  • To avoid the sprinkles from bleeding, use  "jimmies," the long, tubular-shaped sprinkles.
