This easy Maple Icing comes together in about 2 minutes with simple ingredients you probably already have. Drizzle this delicious, easy maple glaze over cinnamon rolls, apple cakes, or maple cookies
Stir the powdered sugar, cinnamon (if using), and salt together in a medium bowl to remove any clumps in the powdered sugar. Add the maple syrup, vanilla, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
Immediately use to frost, drizzle, or dip cooled cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, bars, donuts, or any of your favorite baked goods.
Notes
This recipe yields about ¾ cup of maple icing.
If the icing develops a crust while you're still using it, just give it a good stir.
To loosen the icing without adding more liquid, warm it in the microwave in 5-10 second increments.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Before using, warm it in 5-10 second increments in the microwave until thin enough to drizzle.
